I’m currently a first-year student at university, studying Education (Secondary), majoring in English as a Second Language and Japanese. Someone please remind me what possessed me to take up that degree because I seriously don’t remember why I took it. Oh, except for the one reason that I wanted to teach English in Japan… But I’m seriously thinking about quitting Education and going into IT or something else.

Well, this is just my blog for trying my hand at making money online via linking and clickity click clicky~ (Though this attempt might fail since most of what I write will be rubbish and I don’t really have anything to offer, except for random thoughts here and there.)

I mainly use my LiveJournal blog for anything I feel like writing, though. I’m predicting that most of my rants here will be about…this place. >_>;

Okay, with my music interests… I mainly listen to Japanese music. Let’s face it; English-language music doesn’t restrict people from singing whatever they want, but that’s the problem with most English-language music: they almost always end up talking about depressing relationships and everything else that entails that (which is why I avoid most hip-hop, rap and R&B music; you know the ones). The thing I love about Japanese music is how you can relate to the lyrics and all. 8) Lovely. Then again, a lot of Japanese is purposely written like that. ._. Since, you know… The Japanese aren’t that direct with their feelings and all, so I think they rely on music for getting their emotions understood.

Japanese bands that I love include SID (シド), UVERworld, flumpool, and MONKEY MAJIK. Other artists that I love listening to are the amazing Angela Aki (アンジェラ・アキ）, Utada Hikaru (宇多田ヒカル), YUI, Nishino Kana (西野カナ), m-flo…and…uh…

I’ve recently started listening to bands like An Cafe (アンティック-珈琲店-) and alice nine. (アリス九號.), though. =] Plastic Tree, Merry (メリー)… I might start listening to Nightmare (ナイトメア), but…they’ve been around for so long (but not as long as Plastic Tree) that I have no idea which songs to listen to. o_o I’ve only listened to ‘the WORLD’ and ‘アルミナ’ (Alumina) but that’s only because they were the Death Note anime opening and ending themes… Oh, and some song that they performed on Manatsu no Utage 2007, but I can’t remember which song it was, nor can I be bothered to look it up. x3

Ah, I need to listen to more BACK-ON! >__< It’s one of my (online) sister’s favorite bands, and she’s a great graphics designer and also the official BACK-ON graphic designer for the English fanbase!. :] I love her~ If you ever need a graphics designer, feel free to look at her deviantART and her portfolio.
